Campaign Decisions

Certain decisions (and actions) made in the story campaign will determine dialogue and the appearance of NPCs in later missions.

Some spoilers are contained in the decision table below, but most of the descriptions have been scrubbed (or "cleaned") and use only generic terms.

Mission - Pyrrhic Victory
Decision Consequence
Rescue Frank Woods Static result. This occurrence always happens.
Mission - Celerium
Decision Consequence
Recover the Celerium device. Static result. This occurrence always happens.
Mission - Old Wounds
Decision Consequence
Resist killing Kravchenko out of hand. Reveals clue about a mole (or traitor), and spawns the file item in Time and Fate. Otherwise, the lead may not appear.
Strikeforce - Shipwreck
Decision Consequence
Clear the Strikeforce Mission Completing the Strikeforce Mission will yield more positive outcomes in the campaign.
Strikeforce - FOB Spectre
Decision Consequence
Clear the Strikeforce Mission Completing the Strikeforce Mission will yield more positive outcomes in the campaign.
Mission - Time and Fate
Decision Consequence
Find the folder about the mole in the Cocaine Bunker. Woods will suspect something is amiss during Suffer with Me.
Mission - Fallen Angel
Decision Consequence
Record enough dialogue about the secret meeting. Unlocks the Strikeforce Mission Dispatch.
Avoid the fiery plume near the mission's extraction point. If the fire is not evaded (drive all the way to the right), Harper will be injured.
Strikeforce - IED
Decision Consequence
Clear the Strikeforce Mission Completing the Strikeforce Mission will yield more positive outcomes in the campaign.
Mission - Karma
Decision Consequence
Retrieve the hostage and neutralize the kidnapper before they escape. Failing to rescue the hostage now, will make some events worse later. However, it unlocks the Strikeforce Mission Second Chance. The kidnapper, DeFalco, will also appear later in Achilles Veil, Odysseus and Judgment Day if the objective is failed, but his actions will be substituted by another if he is missing.
Strikeforce - Second Chance
Decision Consequence
Clear the Strikeforce Mission This mission only becomes available if the kidnapping was successful in Karma. Your strike team simply recovers the hostage before you commit to the next mission, Suffer with Me.
Mission - Suffer with Me
Decision Consequence
Shoot the target fatally in the head or another location (the limb). This event will affect the ending cut-scene. Being a lousy shot (landing only limb shots) will make for a more positive ending, provided Menendez is killed, instead of captured, in Judgment Day.
Strikeforce - Dispatch
Decision Consequence
Clear the Strikeforce Mission Completing the Strikeforce Mission will yield more positive outcomes in the campaign. For completing them all, your final mission will be easier by the elimination (or reduction) of enemy sharpshooters.
Mission - Achilles Veil
Decision Consequence
Agent Farid or his handler ends up getting killed. If Farid is killed, the cyberworm attack will be more serious. However, Mason will have a combat ally for the rest of the missions. If Farid is left alive, Mason will have to go into battle alone for the rest of the campaign, but story-related events are generally more positive.
Mission - Odysseus
Decision Consequence
Kill or injure Admiral Briggs Killing the admiral will bring on graver consequences for the Obama. Merely shooting a limb will let him recover and save the vessel from complete destruction. (If you wait long enough, you can avoid the choice of shooting Briggs, ultimately saving his life)
Mission - Cordis Die
Decision Consequence
Protect the Madame President. Static result. This occurrence always happens.
Mission - Judgment Day
Decision Consequence
Kill or capture Menendez Capturing the target will make for a more positive ending (Jimmy Kimmel will make a cameo in this ending). Killing him will have a more gratifying personal outcome for David Mason.
